Lynn Ban, the renowned jewelry designer and star of “Bling Empire: The designer “Bling Empire: New York” and Jett Kain built a solid personal and business relationship together. Their relationship started in 1994 during New Year’s Eve celebrations of a party and grew for more than three decades.

During their initial encounter Jett Kain created his position as a music and entertainment journalist for MTV. The ways he managed media content throughout his career became essential to their professional partnerships.

During their 27-year marriage Lynn and Jett developed both a strong partnership at home and in their business ventures. They successfully led their father-in-law’s sushi business while remaining partners in life.
They created Lynn Ban Jewelry together and developed it successfully. Jett moved from his media background into marketing and press activities at the brand to help the brand reach a wider fashion audience. Together they worked with famous celebrities Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Cardi B, and Beyoncé which built the brand’s reputation for innovative and daring designs.
The world lost Lynn Ban on January 20, 2025 because she experienced major health problems after a snowboarding accident took place in Aspen, Colorado. She underwent emergency brain surgery because she had internal bleeding. Jett Kain found her unconscious at their Tribeca home and emergency responders declared her dead at the scene after checking her vital signs.
The couple’s son Sebastian announced his mother’s death through Instagram by describing her position as his best friend and strongest fighter. He spoke of her never-ending hope during her recovery and how she influenced everyone in her life.
Over the years they worked together as business partners and also raised their son with combined effort. Their teamwork helped grow their business into success while changing both industries permanently.
